A magnificent lake roofed by the mountains, this is the apt description for Lough Inagh in Connemara in County Galway. A Gold Award winner in 2017 National IPPA awards and part of my winning portfolio as IPPA Landscape Photographer of the Year, this serene sunset photo unveils to the viewers the fabled elegance of Lough Inagh. With sun, shower and dark clouds, the evening was very eventful. Suddenly, a little bundle of sun rays emblazoned the western sky over the mountains and I was quick enough to snap this photograph.
