Located near the Pigeon House in Dublin, the Sandymount Strand has always been an epitome of beauty. This black and white photograph was captured on a windy day in the season of spring. As the wind blew like a jet, the sand started to dance across the road. Just like a depiction from American Midwest. The rocks remained stationed like ancient soothsayers watching over the inevitable fate of the world. Having been showcased in prestigious RHA Exhibition and honoured in IPPA as well as RSA Awards 2010, Sand in Motion has been one of my evergreen works.
