Description
I stumbled upon these beautiful rocks while searching for ideal photographic locations around the Baily Lighthouse Howth, I was mesmerised immediately by these peculiar structures. Plus, the rocks were imparting a special allure to the scene. The concept of the photo came to me immediately. Sitting on the tip of Howth Head on the north of Dublin, the lighthouse is known for its surreal surroundings and often features in photos of Howth. Understanding that a night photo would be perfect, I captured the photo with a long exposure of 20 minutes. The result is lovely as the star trails are visible in the portrait and the lighthouse shines like a beacon of hope.
