Indeed a wondrous black and white portrait, it became one of the worthy inclusions in my collection of landscape photos of River Slaney for Slaney Bar near Dublin Airport. During my visit to the Wexford Town near Wexford Heritage Centre, I came to know about this momentous spot beside River Slaney at Cullentra. The view of these decaying posts near the waterline captivated me immediately. The struggle of every old fence post to escape from drowning to an inevitable obliteration portrays the transience of human life.
