Description
The final home of the Sir Fenen O’Driscoll, the O’Driscoll castle Cape Clear exists even today proudly showing the world the glory of its golden days. Also known as Dún a Óir, it sits atop the coast of Cape Clear with the glorious stories of the past trapped inside in every inch of it’s walls. Now it may not be a proud host of the Kings, Queens or other Nobels, but it still has its sheer essence that makes this a visit-worthy destination. The seascape scenery of this place is just magnificent and that makes it one of my favourite locations in West Cork.
