Description

The beauty of Shroove Pier is unusual in a way and for quite some time I wanted to capture a serene night landscape photo of this place. This remarkable concrete structure is located on the eastern side of the Inishowen Peninsula, which is close to Greencastle along the coast of County Donegal. Call it Shroove, Stroove or Shrove, the area has so many similar names that even a local was also not able to help me in finding the “real” name.
