Description
Located in the southeast of Kilkenny, the gardens of Woodstock Inistioge serve as a habitation to a variety of trees that are mostly natives of Asia and South America. Known for their regal look and mammoth stature, most of these trees stand tall as gentle giants of this era. As seen in the background, the Japanese Thuja and American Redwood trees are strangely alluring. An example of fine art photography, this picture was captured after the devastating storms in 2014. It was painful to witness the fallen trees and to think that their legacy was lost. Well, that’s the irony of life.
