Description
Being a contemporary urban photo, it was captured on a gleaming September morning under the seating of the now forsaken Blackrock Baths, located beside Blackrock Dart Station. The tattered walls of the Baths try to hide its poor demeanour under the cloak of sensational graffiti that graces the walls. The hush of the scene appeals to me greatly and I like the way the wide window separates the viewer from the tranquillity of the outside world. The scene is a little ironic or symbolic to a human life yet it is to me strangely gorgeous.
