The Octagon, Glen of the Downs
The Glen of the Downs provides a wonderful Autumn forest landscape scene in this small but beautiful Wicklow woodland. The building commonly known as the Octagon due to it’s shape sits on the edge of the forest. It is a majestic setting. The Glen of the Downs was part of the Bellevue Estate and the now ruined Octagon structure was once used as a hunting lodge and tea rooms.
