This was my first visit to Wicklow to capture Irish landscape photos of the beautiful Glendalough and the lakes! I truly have neglected this part of the world, mainly because it has been photographed so much already. I headed off in the dark, committed to give my own take on the scene.. The air was cool and still, perfect for frosty predawn photos. I arrived at Glendalough Lower Lake and sure enough there were already 4 photographers before me all huddled at the one spot. The Glendalough lakes are indeed a wonderful peaceful place so after a short walk I came across this beautiful spot amongst the trees. I love the structural forms of the trees to the left as they appear reaching for the sky. It is one of 2 images I took that morning.

As an interior Design Photographer I go to great lengths in setting the scene just right as was in this case when I photographed this beautiful home for Realm Concepts. The correct positioning of a residential photographer in a space when photographing a home can mean just moving a couple of inches is the difference between the success or failure of the photo.

I love hospitality photography because the locations are usually very interesting. None more so than the iconic Guinness Storehouse. I was commissioned by Diageo and Airbnb to photograph the Gravity Bar for a Guinness Storehouse Airbnb Campaign. As always, working with Diageo was exciting and fun. The Guinness Brand is one of the most well known brands worldwide.

I was assigned as a Commercial Photographer by Diageo and Airbnb to photograph the Gravity Bar as part of a Guinness Storehouse Airbnb worldwide Advertising Campaign. The Guinness Brand is one of the most iconic brands in the world and the campaign resulted in 1.3 Billion Media impressions. Enda used his experience in Architectural photography of the Guinness Storehouse and Dublin to produce a set of iconic images which appeared in the worldwide media.

I always enjoy the tranquility of photographing nightscapes. Photography has always been by escape. To take a photo of a Dublin nightscape at low iso truly slows things down. It took 2 hours to fully capture this photo of the Forty Foot Dublin. I pretty much had the place to myself. As you slow things down photographically you also slow your mind down and feel the stresses of the day seep out of your mind. I think this than translates into the photo. I find the image peaceful. The photo of the Forty Foot shows a hint of the famous James Joyce Martello Tower in Sandycove. Dun Laoghaire and the Dublin Skyline are clearly visible in the background. The stars showing the movement of the Earth illustrate nothing is constant. It is one of a number of Dublin photos for sale in my online shop.

A black and white photo at New Brighton Beach in the Wirral. I came across this incredible structure aged with time while photographing the lighthouse and other man made structures around New Brighton Beach. The concrete forms which radiated around the building looked magnificent. These structures are perfect for fine art photography. I was commissioned photograph the Mersey and it’s estuary for a restaurant in John Lennon Airport in Liverpool. Here you see one of the images from that commission.

A black and white photo of Crosby beach Liverpool. A very interesting reason to visit Crosby Beach is Another Place by renowned British sculpture Antony Gormley. Life size sculptures of cast iron which were made from the artist. Another Place consists of 100 cast-iron, life-size figures spread out along three kilometres of the vast Crosby beach, stretching almost one kilometre out to sea. It was initially supposed to be a temporary installation but after a Council decision it is now a permanent and fascinating part of the landscape. There is something very serene about the place. The drama in the sky appears to be generated by the wind turbines in the distance.
