Architectural photography of the Dublin Port Centre by Darmody Architecture. Much of the centre’s beautifully designed architectural structures are clad in Corten steel. I enjoy bringing an artistic aspect into my architectural photography. One which compliments wonderful design. Check out more from my Dublin Port Centre commision here in the Case Studies Section.

Being a die-hard fan of the Star Wars franchise, I wanted to capture my own version of Skellig Michael photos, on the place where much of The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi was shot. I wanted to get a dark and sinister ambience for this picture such that I could recreate the setting of some scenes from Star Wars. Hence, I left the red flare which eventually helped in bringing out the aura of the setting sun reflected from the rocks. Here is the full collection of photos from my trip.
Skellig Michael. An idyllic location off the coast of Ireland, where much of Star Wars: The Last Jedi is set and where the Force Awakens ended as Rey arrived in search of Luke Skywalker. In the Last Jedi Luke trains Rey how to be a Jedi. This dramatic rock features in the movie and is where some important scenes are set.
You can see in the background, clinging to the cliffs, the path which take visitors from the small jetty to the ancient steps built so may years ago. Little Skellig sits majestically in the background. The photo was captured in stunning clarity with a Phase One IQ3 100 Digital Back.

The dramatic rock formations of the Skellig Coast in County Kerry sit in shadow. Little Skellig bathed in sunlight sits ever visible in the background. One of a series of Skellig Michael landscape photos captured over 2 days. It was one of the most memorable photographic experiences of my life. It was my last photo on Skellig Michael literally just before I jumped in the boat. Part of a comprehensive series of Skellig Michael landscape photos, captured over 2 days. Skellig is understandably a UNESCO heritage site. They are a sight to behold.

This picture is taken at Skellig Island and yes, Skellig island is the same rock that is featured in the latest movie series of Star Wars, The Last Jedi. It is the location where Luke Skywalker trains Rey to become a Jedi knight. Also, I am always attracted towards the beauty and construction of man-made structures. Be it 1500 years old beehive huts or this old non-operating helicopter pad, I always try my best to capture the beauty of these man-made structures.
I was commissioned as a commercial photographer by Diageo to photograph the new Guinness Storehouse Brewing Floor. Red lighting is used to mimic heat in the roasting area.

Hospitality photography often means challenging or interesting lighting depending on how you interpret things. Lighting is one of the most interesting aspects when working as an interior photographer. The new Guinness Storehouse Brewing Floor installation, designed by Love Creative uses clever lighting throughout to create mood and atmosphere.
