Sun and Shadow on Benwiskin

Benwiskin Sligo Mountain

This photo was taken close to the Gleniff Horseshoe during one of my visits to Sligo last summer. This particular bit of mountain is called ‘Benwiskin’. I love shooting here becuase you get these dark imposing clouds and pockets of sunshine. I waited for quite some time to capture this image. I wanted just that portion of the mountain to be in sunlight and the rest to be in shadow.
