Tree Study Avondale Forest No.1

Avondale is a wonderful forest in Wicklow. A great place to walk and to photograph. I had this composition in my head for some time. There is something quite stoic about this particular tree. Although dead, it still stands proudly appearing as if it has arms outstretched. I love the subtle dark tones of the image.
