Photographed at Altamont Gardens in County Carlow, the portrait exhibits the artistry of River Slaney flowing peacefully yet swiftly over the rocks. The lustre of milky white water as it drifted over the rocks quickly captivated my gaze immediately. Breaking down the scenery in simple elements, I captured it as a black and white photograph. This innovative process helped me to focus on the exact focal points. A finalist at the 2010 FEP Awards, it really displays the charm of this place.
