Description
The Pigeon House Power Station was established in 1902 to keep up with Dublin’s thirst for electricity. Throughout the early part of the 20th century the power station was extended and adpated as the city continued to grow. In the early 70’s a new power station was built at Poolbeg to the East of Pigeon House – servicing the greater Dublin area until today.
I have been fascinated with this place for a decade and have often photographed it. This image combines harsh industrial structure with the soft forms of sea and sky. This statement image would look amazing in any home or office space. Feel free to contact me for more information.
