I had the utmost desire of capturing a series of Skellig Michael photos since parts of Star Wars: The Last Jedi and The Force awakens were shot here. I have always been a huge fan of the Star Wars franchise since my childhood days. So, I couldn’t resist myself from catching a pre dawn boat ride to get to the Skelligs and communicate my vision of  Skellig Michael and Star Wars. In this image I wanted to recreate a dark atmosphere from the Star Wars films. As a result, I forsake the red flare which in turn helped in extracting the warm essence of the setting sun reflected from the rocks nearby.
