Description
One of the most famous landmarks in the Irish history, the Boland’s mill played a significant role during the 1916 Easter Rising. After being captured by De Valera and his 3rd Battalion of Irish Volunteers, this iconic building served as their headquarters during the tumultuous times. Though it has been redeveloped into an office and apartment by BKD architects, I was able to get the perfect picture just before the derelict symbol of the past was demolished.
